DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER

Then Jesus said to the woman, “I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep—the people of Israel.” But she came and worshiped him, pleading again, “Lord, help me!” Jesus responded, “It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.” She replied, “That’s true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their masters’ table.” “Dear woman,” Jesus said to her, “your faith is great. Your request is granted.” And her daughter was instantly healed.
Matthew 15:24‭-‬28 NLT

A very interesting story of a woman who needed healing for her daughter and went all the way to attract the attention of Jesus and get what she wanted even when it looked like she didn’t merit it. This story has taught me severally never to take no for an answer. There is usually one excuse or the other given by your conscience and the devil in trying to stop you from receiving from God especially after praying and believing but it is your responsibility to put those excuses where they belong.

Some of us back out easily after asking God for certain things and it looks like they are not coming. We begin to manufacture excuses in our heart as reasons why you may not be receiving it. Some of us go as far as believing that our sins and past mistakes must be hindering us. Well, I am here to announce to you that what you receive from God is determined by your level of faith which involves throwing away all excuses and doubts.

Decide that you would not stop requesting and you won’t give up regarding those things you are trusting God for. This is your season and either the devil likes it or not, you will testify. Keep the faith. Keep praying and keep believing. Most times, you need just a bit more of perseverance for things to turn out positively for you. I pray that you will receive your testimonies today in Jesus name.

DISCOVERY PRAYERS

1. I receive the grace not to give up over the things I’m believing God for in Jesus name.

2. Every doubt and disbelief in my heart is removed today by the Spirit of faith in Jesus name..
