IT IS TIME TO BE REMEMBERED

Then the chief butler spoke to Pharaoh, saying: “I remember my faults this day.

Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there, a servant of the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; to each man he interpreted according to his own dream.
Genesis 41:9‭, ‬12 NKJV

With all the skills and relationship with God that JOSEPH’S had, he was still forgotten by people he had done good for. It is obvious anyone in this life can be forgotten. I pray that you will be remembered today in Jesus name.

Many of us have sown good seeds in the past, done well for people and shown kindness to many but have never been remembered by such people or other people. In our reading today, Joseph who had been in prison for an offence he didn’t commit had interpreted dreams for very high profiled people in the prison and had even informed them to remember him after what he did for them free of charge but somehow, someway, he wasn’t remembered at all until something took place in the palace that warranted his skills and grace.

I have found out that it is usually not people’s fault when they don’t remember you for good. It is simply because there is nothing that causes them to remember your good. It is important that God causes people to have reasons to remember you for good. That you are a Christian does not automatically guarantee your being remembered. There is a need to pray and declare that people in privileged places whose lives you have affected are forced to remember you for good.

It took Pharaoh to have a dream he couldn’t deal with for the chief butler to remember him. I pray that God will cause people to have issues that will make them remember you in Jesus name. This is why you should keep sowing the seeds of kindness and also ensure you are skillfully relevant for you to be needed. May God put you in people’s hearts today in Jesus name

DISCOVERY PRAYERS

1. Lord, cause the right people to remember me from today in Jesus name.

2. I declare that my skills are becoming relevant in high places from today in Jesus name.

3. All my seeds are bringing forth great harvest for good in Jesus name.
